The video shows a factory machine actively resealing packs—a troubling development that creates new opportunities for bad actors to deceive unsuspecting collectors.

Resealed products have always been a concern in the trading card hobby, from vintage wax boxes to modern single packs. But today's collecting landscape is different. The stakes are higher, with passionate collectors sometimes getting into physical altercations just for the chance to purchase sealed product from major retailers.

Many collectors now buy directly from live selling platforms like Whatnot and eBay Live. This makes it more important than ever to know who you're buying from and understand where their product originates. Do your research on sellers, ask questions about sourcing, and stay vigilant about the condition and authenticity of sealed packs before you purchase.
